Egitto: le ragioni della crisi e della rivolta

In molti si stanno chiedendo che cosa succede realmente in Egitto e come mai si sono accesi in modo così frenetico i focolai della protesta. E’ tutta colpa della Tunisia? Oppure è colpa dell’aumento del costo delle materie prime, in particolar modo agricole?
Non solo. Dietro ai problemi dell’Egitto, ci sono anche motivazioni ben più profonde.
Tanto per cominciare occorre mettere ben in chiaro una cosa. L’Egitto nel corso degli anni si è trasformato molto. Se una volta era un paese con una forte vocazione verso l’export, soprattutto di petrolio. Negli ultimi mesi però, le esportazioni di petrolio hano avuto una forte frenata e, nello stesso tempo ,l’Egitto si è scoperto sempre più “consumatore” di materie prime. Quindi meno export ma più consumi interni. Bene, direte voi. Utilizzano le proprie risorse.
Il problema è che il denaro ottenuto dall’export era fondamentale per poter pagare contributi e sovvenzioni alla popolazione che non lavora o lavora con stipendi risibili.
Ma non è finita qui. Il governo egiziano è da sempre in forte disavanzo. Il che frena ulteriormente il trend dei sostegni. E tanto per aggiungere carbonella al fuoco, l’industria locale si torva in una fase di forte crisi.
Tutto qui? No, perché l’Egitto ha anche un problema di tipo demografico. Infatti è un paese dove le nascite crescono generosamente. Se aumentano le nascite ci vuole più cibo e più soldi. Solo che i soldi (importantissimi per le dinamiche familiari egiziane i sussidi) mancano e le materie prime lievitano di prezzo, in quanto non solo già da solo il grano & Co stanno aumentando di prezzo, non solo il tasso di inflazione egiziano è sempre più pesante (13%). C’è un ulteriore problema.
Sembra infatti che il governo stia espandendo le aree commerciali a scapito proprio delle aree agricole, che tra le altre cose quest’anno hanno prodotto meno del normale a causa delle avverse condizioni meteo.
Mettete insieme questo bel malloppo di fattori, e capirete come mai l’Egitto è sceso tutto in piazza.

Ovviamente, resta da stabilire “chi e perchè” ha preparato le rivoluzioni egiziana e tunisina “a tavolino” e perchè.
Questo è il difficile, ma soprattutto questo può fornire un’ottima indicazione per futuri sviluppi economici e investimenti.
Certo che leggendo il post di Gremlin, appena uscito, e i segnali “premonitori” di Dream, uno potrebbe anche pensare che qualcuno …sapeva… e che quindi sia stato preparato a tavolino, come hai evidenziato.

se fosse solo un moto popolare, a mio avviso più che giustificato, mi sentirei più tranquillo…
se è una manovra più ampia c’è veramente da preoccuparsi…. non voglio fare la Cassandra, ma gli sviluppi potrebbero portare a scontri bellici in tale area.
Boom boom inflazione area euro, le borse fanno finta di ignorare tutto e tutto sperando presto di tuffarsi nel dopo post pil 4 trim2010 usa, dove ancora una volta i dati manipolati ad arte dipingono una realtà che nella sorella maggiore uk appare molto diversa, ma si sa beata ignoranza.
Le materie prime ci satnno presentano il conto, nei paesi più poveri il conto è molto più salato, da non incomincia a farsi sentire, ma una crescita anoressica i tassi non possono crescere, ma questo i mercati fanno finta di saperlo, il baltic dry crolla e ora che òa speculazione sulle commodities venga limitata.
Ma i mercati continuano ad ignorare, spagna addirittura vira in positivo, europa,usa e emergenti non possono più tollerare continui aumenti dei prezzi. 🙄
Dream Theater,
…allargamento ed approfondimento della globalizzazione finanziaria dei mercati e la conseguente necessità di allineare le economie arretrate agli “standard sviluppati”.
Rimozione delle classi dirigenti non adeguate a questo processo di “sviluppo” con l’ausilio di movimenti di piazza innescati anche artificialmente.
Controllo delle reazioni sociali “centrifughe” mediante operazioni di “polizia” internazionale e locale con eserciti professionali già da tempo ristrutturati con queste finalità.
Copertura ideologica con “Diritti e Democrazia” e “Guerre al terrorismo” di vario tipo.
Viste le contraddizioni che si innescheranno, prepariamoci ad un lungo periodo di incertezza e di conflittualità diffusa che potrebbe generare anche qualcosa di più grave. O sbaglio?

beh, c’è una cosa che davvero è strana. Che nonostante noi si sia attenti al minimo acceno di variazione intermarket non si abbia colto l’allarme pazzesco che questa situazione ha determinato.
1) si è capito che la globalizzazione non esiste. Lo stop del canale di Suez metterebbe fuori gioco l’ export della Cina in europa insieme ad un sacco di altre cose che ci farebbero sentire molto tristi
Una corsa all’oro fisico farebbe capire anche qualcosa di più Non oso immaginare cosa succederebbe con una rivoluzione in Cina
2) come fa notare uriel “finisce un mito. Il mito della rete come strumento politico. La rete non puo’ essere uno strumento politico, ne’ uno strumento di opposizione ad un governo, per la semplice ragione che i governi le controllano e possono spegnerle. Quando vogliono.

3) Molte merci come abbigliamento e accessori ,fra Capodanno cinese, Tunisia ed Egitto in stop ( e non dimentichiamo l’Albania già dimenticata) , semplicemente non arriveranno o arriveranno in ritardo e questo in Europa potrà creare strane situazioni di mercato (ammesso che sia già tutto finito naturalmente)
4) Nonostante i bla bla siamo assolutamente impreparati ad una eventuale vera emergenza , con masse che di colpo toccheranno con mano che i problemi veri non potranno essere risolti con un voto tramite sms e che l’uscita di uno che ha bestemmiaato al Grande Fratello tutto sommato potrebbe non essere notizia prioritaria.
Saranno ben consci però che da almeno dieci anni Maria de Filipppi ha fatto capire loro che se urlano e danno di matto attraggono applausi
beh , mi fermo qui credo di aver chiarito il concetto. Certo sarebbe bello che ognuno di noi mettesse a verbale l’escalation che avrebbero i mercati con una semplice chiusura di Suez . Palestra d’ardimento ! Qualcuno qui ricorda Alan Ford ?
